Amazon Ads partner profile

This page holds the information we submit when registering with the Amazon Ads Partner Network. It matches what we describe on the rest of this site.

What the business does

Qiwang AdPilot is advertising automation software we build ourselves. It connects to a seller's advertising accounts through the official Amazon Ads API, reads how those campaigns are performing, and points out the spend that is not paying for itself. From there it proposes specific changes to bids, budgets and campaign status. Nothing is applied until the seller confirms it, and every applied change is written to an audit log.

The sellers we work with run more than one store at a time. Their accounts are spread across marketplaces, and checking them by hand is slow and easy to miss things in. The product turns that into a process anyone can review afterwards.

How we connect

We call the Amazon Ads API through a client application built on Login with Amazon (LwA). Authorisation runs through Amazon's OAuth 2.0 flow: once the seller grants access in the Amazon Ads console, we hold an access token bound to that advertising account, not a password.

The token is used only to call the Amazon Ads API. We do not store your password and we never ask you to give it to us. You can revoke the authorisation at any time in the Amazon Ads console, and access stops immediately.

We ask for two official scopes: advertising::campaign_management, which most Amazon Ads API calls require, and advertising::test:create_account, which is used to create test accounts. We do not request advertising::audiences, so no audience data is involved.

How we manage multiple customers

We serve more than one seller, and each seller's advertising accounts are authorised by that seller, independently of the others. On Amazon's side this is done with a manager account: the seller links the advertising accounts they want managed to a manager account in the Amazon Ads console and grants us Editor permission. We reach those accounts only through the seller's own authorisation token, and we never handle the seller's account password.

Permission levels work the way Amazon defines them: only Editor permission allows write operations, while an account granted Viewer permission can be read but not changed. A narrowly authorised account therefore cannot be altered by us by accident.

Amazon caps the number of accounts one manager account can link at 50. Beyond that we create further manager accounts under the same mechanism, rather than scattering authorisations or registering repeatedly to work around the limit.

Service categories

What we offer sits under advertising optimization, in eight parts:

  • Budget burn alerts
  • Out-of-stock ad protection
  • Zero-conversion term cleanup
  • Official recommendation consolidation
  • Competitor ad intelligence, covering EU marketplaces
  • Cross-marketplace portfolio management
  • Inventory-linked advertising
  • Rule oversight and rollback

The official endpoint behind each one is listed on the features page.

Marketplaces covered

The subscription covers marketplaces in North America, Europe and the Far East: the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, Japan, Singapore, Australia, India and the United Arab Emirates. Sponsored TV, Amazon DSP and Amazon Marketing Cloud are not connected in the current version; they can be taken on as a quoted engagement once the requirement and the access needed are clear.

Ad types

Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display.

How the service is delivered

We sell software subscriptions, in one of two modes. Recommendation only gives you read-only access and you make every change yourself. Managed execution applies the changes on your behalf once you have approved them, within the limits you set. Prices are on the pricing page.

Where a customer runs a large number of accounts, or needs something outside the above, we quote per project. What the quote is based on is written into the quote itself.

Data handling

We do not read buyer personal information, and we do not request a Restricted Data Token, so our interface calls do not return buyer names, addresses, phone numbers or other identity fields. Order and sales data is used only in aggregate form. We do not change product listings, product content, prices, promotions, fulfilment settings, billing or account permissions. Write access is limited to advertising entities: bids, budgets, campaign status and negative keywords. The full account is in our privacy policy and security page.
